Origins 2026 will take place at Les Cordeliers, a historic venue of Sorbonne University located in central Paris.

Accessibility:

The conference venue is accessible to persons with reduced mobility. Step-free access points and ramps are indicated on the attached map.

The conference auditoriums are located around a central outdoor courtyard and covered arcade (see the green area on the map), which will be accessible during the conference and may serve as a quieter space for participants.

If you have specific accessibility needs or questions, please contact the conference organizers before or during the event so that we can help ensure a comfortable experience for all participants.

Transport:

The venue is easily accessible by public transportation:

• Metro: Line 4 (Odéon), Line 10 (Odéon, Cluny–La Sorbonne)
• RER: Lines B and C (Saint-Michel–Notre-Dame)
• Bus: 21, 27, 38, 58, 63, 70, 86, 87, 96

Please note that metro and RER stations often involve stairs. For step-free access, buses or taxi/ride-share services are recommended. Wheelchair-accessible vehicles are available through G7 Taxis services.

Taxi transfers to and from Paris airports (Orly and Charles de Gaulle) are available at fixed rates for destinations on the Left Bank or Right Bank. Within Paris, official taxis (such as G7) operate on a metered fare system.
